AlwaysRemembered.com was created in November 2000 by Tobias Teeter when his grandmother, Gail Greathouse, passed away. Mr. Teeter wanted to create an everlasting tribute to his grandmother that would be accessible anytime and from anywhere via the Internet. Soon, friends and family members began adding their deceased loved ones to the AlwaysRemembered.com archive. Features such as vital statistics and Familylinks were later added to transform the Memorials from mere online obituaries into interactive family trees. Personal Reflections were also added to Memorials so friends and families can submit a personal memory or a note of gratitude to the Memorial's guest book for future generations to cherish.

Today AlwaysRemembered.com continues to be operated by the Teeter family and a growing network of affiliated funeral homes, newspapers, and churches throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Teeter is committed to providing an interactive archive of Memorials so that future generations can meet their deceased loved ones and share personal reflections with those who were touched by their lives.
